Leading Job Portals in Singapore 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
With more employers posting recruitment ads online, below are some popular job sites that you may find useful in your recruitment campaign:

1) JobsDB.com.sg - Originated from Hong Kong, JobsDB has quickly expanded to other regions in Asia today. The job portal is one of the leading sites in Asia today, with a large number of membership - Corporate and jobseekers. With its regional presence, JobsDB allows you to attract foreign talents to work in Singapore as well. JobsDB also operates another company 88DB.com, which is an online business directory.

2) JobStreet.com.sg
- Similar to JobsDB.com, Jobstreet.com is a large online recruitment website in Asia. Jobstreet offers a range of recruitment solutions for small businesses and large enterprises. Employers may register and post premium ads online, low cost classified ads and search for resumes.

3) Monster.com.sg - Founded in 1994 by Jeff Taylor, Monster.com is the largest job search engine today. It has coverage in 42 countries around the world claiming 42 million job seekers per month. In Singapore, Monster.com.sg is a relatively newer player compared to JobsDB and JobStreet.

4) ST701.com - With its late entry in online recruitment, ST701.com is also an online classifieds portal operated by Singapore Press Holdings LTD (SPH). SPH is the largest newspaper publisher in Singapore. Its Daily newspapers include the following:
- The Straits Times
- Business Times
- The New Paper
- Lian He Zao Bao

With these large players dominating the the online job search industry, there seems to be little or no room for the smaller job sites.

Compared to advertising job vacancies on the traditional print media, Online ads are definitely much more cost effective.

However, not all kinds of jobs are suitable to be posted online. For example, the older generations may not use the Internet as the primary tool to search for jobs. In this case, advertising on newspaper classifieds may be more effective.

Of course, you may also post job vacancies on the forum here, but please do not spam the forum.

Also, its definitely not as effective compared to the popular job sites above.
